Peerless Single Barrel — “Confectionary Curve” Southern Spirits Selection
This Peerless “Confectionary Curve” is a special one — our first-ever Peerless Single Barrel at Southern Spirits.
Bottled at 115 proof, this Sweet Mash Bourbon brings big flavor while drinking well below its proof. It has plenty of structure and intensity, but the profile stays smooth, sweet, and dangerously easy to enjoy.
We named this barrel “Confectionary Curve” because it evolves beautifully in the glass and on the palate. It starts with rich caramelized brown sugar, then curves into soft confectionery sweetness, sweet oak, vanilla, and warm bourbon depth.
Peerless is known for its Sweet Mash process, and this barrel shows exactly why that matters — it is clean, rich, balanced, and full of character from start to finish.
Tasting Notes:
🥃 Nose: Caramelized brown sugar, sweet oak, vanilla, soft spice
🥃 Palate: Confectionery sugar, caramel, toasted oak, brown sugar, rich bourbon sweetness
🥃 Finish: Smooth, long, and warming with sweet oak, spice, and lingering sugar-cookie richness
