This unique finishing process gives the bourbon a beautiful ruby hue in the glass along with a rich, creamy mouthfeel. On the palate you’ll find vibrant red fruit and dark berry notes, layered with subtle sweetness from the port casks. Despite its 105 proof, this one drinks incredibly smooth — closer to 90 proof in perceived heat, making it dangerously easy to sip.
For the full experience, we recommend letting the bottle open up for a day after your first pour. A little air allows the double port cask influence to fully develop, revealing deeper fruit character and complexity.
