This one wasn’t even supposed to be ours…
I stumbled across a few Elijah Craig Barrel Proof samples in the kitchen and—naturally—gave them a try. Only after I fell in love was I told they were meant for someone else. But this barrel was too good to let go, and thankfully, I didn’t have to. So I named it what it deserved: “Finders Keepers.”
This is a big, bold, punch-you-in-the-face bourbon—just the way we like it.
Expect a rush of sweet and spicy complexity, all dialed up at full cask strength. We love it neat, where it shines brightest. A splash of water will stretch it out, but you’ll lose a bit of that fun, fiery edge.
