FRIDAY WINE 4:00-6:00
TREFETHEN CHARDONNAY: This estate grown wine is on the cleaner, crisper side, using mostly French oak.
ILLAHE PINOT NOIR: Another week, another Oregon Pinot Noir! This is a new arrival, so we can all try it together!
DUCKHORN MERLOT: We have an excellent price on this super famous merlot. When I started in the wine industry Duckhorn Merlot was the gold standard for the varietal.
R SYRAH: If you like Syrah big and juicy then this baby is for you! Once this cold front passes, this wine works great for BBQ or for a big juicy steak!
SATURDAY THE DUBLINER 3:30-5:30
That is right, I scheduled my Irish tasting for the day after St. Patrick’s day, because it is good to drink Irish all year long!
There are lots of folks drinking honey “whiskey”, and I think, The Dubliner, is the best of the bunch.
KEITH’S CABINET: WHAT KEITH IS DRINKING NOW
THE QUIET MAN: A super smooth and delightful Irish whiskey. I was enjoying this greatly while I watched Father Ted last night. Great show and a great whiskey.
DIPLOMATICO 2002: This vintage rum is almost as good as it gets. Explosive flavor, complex, and a very long finish! I picked this up a long time ago and as I frequently do, it had been stashed away for later use.
GRAN DUQUE D’ALBA: This amazing Spanish brandy is pure velvet! Aged for 12 years in sherry casks, I love everything about this brandy. No Cognac at this price can begin to compete with this.
GLEN GRANT 12 YEAR: Glengrant 10 is gone, but now we say hello to the 12 year! We welcome this Scotch with open arms! I needed another affordable single malt, as do we all.
SVEDKA BLUE RASPBERRY: This is a big fruity vodka perfect for the summertime. You could use reverse psychology on this cold front and drink a warm weather drink.
BELLE MEADE MADEIRA CASK: I am very excited that this came in. I love Madeira cask whiskey and I love Belle Meade! Could be quite limited, you just never know. Right now I have one case.
2 OZ OF IRISH WHISKEY
2 OZ OF AMARULA
Combine the two on the rocks and enjoy this cocktail I invented for a Super Bowl party many years ago. It is a nice change of pace from Irish Car Bombs, Baby Guiness etc.
